Isso provou ser um grande desafio na \u00e9poca, o que fez com que Simsi45 usasse apenas uma imagem em 2D ao inv\u00e9s de um modelo 3D, ou seja, na primeira vers\u00e3o, a imagem da sala era apenas um plano de fundo. Embora a apar\u00eancia fosse legal, ela n\u00e3o funcionava corretamente (bichos de estima\u00e7\u00e3o flutuavam no ar, o fundo era pixelado, o reflexo do espelho n\u00e3o funcionava, etc.), cen\u00e1rio do The Sims 2. As luzes originais t\u00eam esse tom azul\/verde que faz os Sims parecerem que est\u00e3o em um lugar diferente, ent\u00e3o ele alterou o tom e trouxe uma leve tonalidade &#8220;dourada&#8221;. Tamb\u00e9m foi ajustado a posi\u00e7\u00e3o das luzes para corresponder melhor com a nova sala.<\/p>\n<p>Simsi45 tentou buscar o melhor equil\u00edbrio entre os brancos &#8211; amarelos para que as cores n\u00e3o mudassem muito ao alternar para o modo simula\u00e7\u00e3o.
